"I had heard a lot of scary things ..."

What I liked

I had heard a lot of scary things about hospitals before going in, and was expecting all sorts of horrors! I was very pleasantly suprised to find everything was perfectly clean, and the nurses were helpful, friendly and not at all phased by my (probably very silly) questions.

Despite being very busy, they always had time to stop and chat and make sure we were doing OK.

What could be improved

If I have to find something to moan about, the system with the meal menus could be improved, as a few times I was too out-of-it on the pain killers to remember to fill in my menu myself.

But even then, the nurses were brilliant and managed to find me some lunch somehow, so it's not much of a complaint.
