What I liked

I was admitted to Derriford Hospital after being in a serious Motorbike accident, I was kept in for two weeks until i was well enough to go home. I stayed on Shaugh Ward and would like to say how professional and dedicated the staff were, they were exceptional and i can't fault the way in which they dealt with me in any way. There are a number of young staff on the ward who were really encouraging with the dedication they showed.

What could be improved

The only way in which i can see the service being improved is that on occassions they were very short staffed, even though the nurses were doing thier very best you could see the strain put upon them.

Anything else?

I have heard a lot of people critisize Derriford but would like to say thank you to them for the service i recieved, yes there are areas where things could improve but that could be said about most things and i think overall a very good service is provided.
