Hurt my kneed on fathers day last year june 2014 - was told by consultant I was to big for any operation in no kind way either considering I had seriously damaged my knee. have been messed around by the doctors who can't seem to even get my height right I was told I had to be BMI 35 or lower. I have lost 5 stone since Christmas 2014 in 15 weeks. Discussed with my physio who told me that they felt that they were being overly harsh about the weight aspect. all in all I feel like I am being given then run around because they don't want to spend the money on giving me the operation to resolve the issue. trying to get hold of the doctors or the consultant is turning into a nightmare. I get left for months at a time with no contact.

If you have still not been able to speak to one of the consultants then I would encourage you to contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) and they would be happy to look into the matter for you.
