"Excellent care"

About: North Tyneside General Hospital

The staff are efficient, caring, respectful and friendly. They were very supportive to myself and my sister when our mum was in with a stroke. Their care was excellent and mum felt safe, this aided her recovery. The after care was amazing, the staff who came daily were encouraging and enthusiastic in their care, pushing mum to relearn her daily skills to build her independence and confidence. A big thank you to all involved.

Dear Sir / Madam, Sorry to hear about your Mum's stroke - I know how hard this can be for everyone concerned. I am delighted that your Mum felt safe in our care and that the wonderful team on ward 22 did all they could to encourage her in her recovery. We understand how important it is for our patients and families to continue to benefit from specialist stroke support once they go home - the rehab team will be really chuffed to hear about the difference they made for you and your Mum. It means a lot. Wishing your Mum continued strength and determination to achieve the goals that matter to her. Thanks again for taking the time to share your story with us, Annie
