"Gallbladder removal"

About: Whiston Hospital

I stayed at whiston hospital for 8 days when I had an infection in my gallbladder.Had an MRI scan and a gallstone had moved into my bile duct and had to that removed. Once removed I went in yesterday to have gallbladder and gallstones removed through keyhole.I went in at 8am and home for 6pm.The nhs is very efficient and I had no problems. It ran quick and smooth.Every member of staff made me feel comfortable from the cleaners, porters, tea people, student nurses, Drs, nurses, consultants, surgical teams.A big thumbs up from me 5* for me.

Thank you for your kind comments regarding your recent in-patient stay at Whiston Hospital. It is pleasing to hear you had a positive experience when attending the hospital. We have forwarded your comments to the surgical team and Imaging department who will share them with the staff in their areas.
