"Gp Referral to A/E"

About: Lister Hospital

My husband was referred to A/E by his GP with chest pain. He was triaged by a Nurse who was exceptionally kind and caring. He then went into a cubicle to have bloods and an ecg. The staff from the EMT's to the staff nurse demonstrated such empathy and kindness also putting his mind at rest and keeping him in a calm state by a little banter here and there still maintaining professionalism at all times. He then had to have an x-ray where he was met by a receptionist with a huge smile. He was seen quick and the casuality registrar even rang round to radiology to ask if he had been seen. After checking results he was discharged to be followed up by his GP. Overall the depts mentioned were impeccable and really could not do enough for him. All is well with him now and Thank you....

So glad that you found the emergency services at the Lister to your liking and that your husband is now feeling better. We'll let the emergency department and radiology teams know how just how highly you rated their care.
