"Aftercare"

About: Conquest Hospital

The aftercare n this hospital is dire. My wife was seen by a consultant on the 16/12/2014 and she was informed she would need physiotherapy. It is now 28/3/15 and she is still waiting. Every time we contact the hospital we are informed she is on the waiting list and she will be seen soon. Bearing in mind that her complaint means she is permanently in pain and it effects her mobility I would have thought that the word urgent would have applied.

We're sorry to read that your wife is in pain whilst waiting for a Physiotherapy appointment. As a Trust we aim to provide a high quality service therefore we are saddened to hear that this has not been the case for you and your wife. We have a Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) that liaise with Trust staff on behalf of patients to help resolve queries and concerns. We would urge you to contact them on 01424 758090 or by email at esh-tr.PALSH@nhs.net to see if they can help. Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. With best wishes
