"Ward D5 short stay surgery"

In the light of recent adverse publicity connected with Stepping Hill Hospital I would like to put on record some positive comments. I recently attended the above ward for short stay surgery. The care and consideration that I was shown by the staff on the ward and in the theatre was exemplary. I was treated, as were other patients, like a VIP, which made me feel comfortable and at ease with the forthcoming procedure. The staff at all levels demonstrated extreme professionalism and respect and their smiles, sense of humour and overall devotion were a credit to, in my opinion, the best health service in the world. The follow up survey by telephone does not give the opportunity to relay the correct feedback so please congratulate the staff on my behalf. Alan Peace
