I was put on the waiting list for knee operation on October 14th. I was given a op date on the 17th Feb which was march 5th this was cancelled on 27th Feb .And now been told to wait until at least sometime in may .which means been waiting for over 30 weeks just to get a date for operation .This is shocking seems I've been not told anything and fobbed of

The orthopaedic service is currently receiving a very high number of referrals and also the demand for emegency treatment is very high. This impacts on the Trust's ability to schedule planned surgery as capacity is reduced. The timeframe given represents up to date information; the Trust is being very honest with patients and is not "fobbing off" anyone.
