Thank you to all the staff that looked after me during my stay yesterday. The only small niggle is that I had to hang out in the waiting area (which had some dried mud on the floor) in my gown for quite a while, but it's a small ward so I appreciate that recovering patients needed a bit longer to free up a bed, especially as I took quite a while to recover myself and was the last one to leave. The staff were friendly and helpful, and my surgery went well. I felt I was treated with respect and was well looked after. I suffer from generalised anxiety but I felt safe enough that I did not have a panic attack which really shows how caring the staff are! The team looking after me on recovery were fantastic at getting me settled and out of pain. Thanks again to everyone. Alex
