"on sunday 22nd March 2015 4.30pm head scan"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

I am a sufferer of panic attacks and very bad claustrophobia having to attend an MRI head scan was a nightmare for me. I have always had to have an open scanner appointment in the past .I was treated with the upmost care and dignity and wasn't made to feel like an idiot. the radiographer was kind and patient and sat with me holding my hand and reassuring me throughout the scan .It was a massive achievement for me to actually go into to scanner and to complete it was something I thought would never happen. I would like to pass on my thanks to the radiographer concerned they are a shining example to the NHS thank you so much Mrs Susan Fitzharris

We can appreciate how difficult this will have been for you and are pleased that the radiographer was so supportive. We will ensure your comments are shared with the whole Radiology Team. Thank you once again.
