When I first came in I thought I had no chance. I’d heard so many things about hospices, like that you don’t come out of them again. Within an hour, the nurses had put my mind at ease – they consoled and comforted me, and understood what I was saying. We had a laugh too.
The people here have helped me move from a bad dark place to an open and clear view of where I’m going.
From doctors to nurses to cleaners – it’s like one big family, and everyone is so friendly and reassuring. They’re so genuine in what they do.
