About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

My only complaint is that I had to phone TRAQS after 3 weeks of not hearing from you. The TRAQS lady I spoke to on the phone was apologetic and very helpful with choice (appointment time and hospital choice)

I am disappointed to read that you had not heard from the TRAQS team for 3 weeks. I assume that this is when you saw your GP and the decision to refer was made?

TRAQS can only process your referral once we have received your letter from your GP, the GP may not generate the referral letter straight away, it maybe done a few days letter as the secretary needs to be given to type the letter.We do sometimes have problems contacting patients as the contact information provided by the GP practice is not included or is incorrect, As all comments are anonymous I am unable to comment further in this instance.
