I attended Whiston hospital today (March 23rd) for a CT colonoscopy. From arrival to leaving I was treated so well and with care. I particularly wanted to mention the care I was shown by one of the staff, who was very kind and is a lovely person, very caring and has excellent patient care skills. They made me feel welcome and comfortable (not easy when waiting for this type of procedure) The other two employees I dealt with were also very good, they attended me during the scan and explained the procedure and at each stage, what was happening to me. All in all, I had been dreading the appointment but these 3 employees made the experience much easier than I had anticipated. One had their birthday today and gave me a piece of their birthday cake, which I thought was so kind. They knew I had not eaten for a day and a half due to the requirements for the procedure. They also made me a lovely cup of tea and gave me biscuits, this person is a credit to your hospital. (The drop down box for the department does not contain Radiology so I am mentioning it here)
"Great treatment ...lovely staff"
