"Kind staff but I have some worries"

My experience has been much better with kind caring staff, a pleasant situation feels so much better than when I was in Treliske Hospital.

But as someone with experience in industry, I was a little shocked to see wall sockets with appliance wires draped over the floor. I also saw peeling paint which from my knowledge is a hygiene risk. There were curtains not blinds and some of these were missing on large single glazed windows right by beds. I did see one patient on my ward moved 4 times in 4 days which made me very worried for them. I wonder if the doctors were able to keep up with the patients’ movements. There was also no security, several times in the evening I wandered into the empty reception area, then onto both wards without seeing another sole let alone being challenged.
