"Post operative care"

About: Goring Hall Hospital

Although I was very satisfied with the care I received whilst in hospital, I feel that the physiotherapy sessions following the operation were inadequate. I only received 2 sessions. One at two weeks and one at 5 weeks. I strongly feel that further sessions would have speeded up my recovery.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are really pleased to see that you had a comfortable stay with us. We tailor our physiotherapy treatment in accordance with every patient’s need. Everyone is different and physiotherapy treatment will differ from patient to patient, depending on the progress of each patient’s recovery. Only when we are happy with the patient’s mobility and independence, we will discharge them. We have taken on board that you feel that you could have benefitted from more physiotherapy and have shared it with our physiotherapy team so they are aware of this for the future. Kind regards Una Palmer Executive Director Goring Hall Hospital
