After suffering a severe pain in my neck and not able to swallow, I went to the A&E in Mayday in Croydon at 4.30am on Friday 13 of march 2015. After initial assessment and consultation I was advised they will need to transport me to St. George's Hospital in Tooting. On arrival at A&E in St. George's Tooting at about 8am I was put in a waiting cubicle were I was seen by three consultants and I was advised I will need to go through surgery that day. I was admitted to Florence Nightingale ward. I had my surgery on the saturday afternoon and discharged on the monday. During my 4 days at St. George's hospital the experience was beyond my expectations. All the consultants, surgeons, nurses and stall I come in contact with are all great and brilliant individuals. They all made me feel at home and comfortable. What a great institution St. George's University Hospital Tooting is.
