(as the patient),

I posted my feelings about last minute cancellation of operation at Good Hope Hospital in February. My op has now taken place in March, and feel it is only right to make my feelings known once again.

I cannot praise highly enough everyone concerned with my stay in hospital. From the pleasant receptionist and upbeat staff of the day care unit through to my surgeon once again Mr. Korsgen and his staff and the caring and understanding staff of Ward 16. If this were a school report it would read Excellent.

The only thing I could improve would be earlier time of day for discharge if possible.

Thanks for your posting. I am pleased all went well for you. We are currently working with pharmacy and 2 pilot wards on earlier discharges and will roll this out to other wards once we have fixed the process. Will pass on your comments to mr korsgen and his team.
