"Getting worse, gynaecologist nowhere to be seen."

About: University Hospital (Coventry)

I am a patient under the gynaecology service, having been recommended that the hospital is brilliant with dealing with complex cases. I have seen my gynaecologist twice, the content of the appointment being "I'm not doing anything, see what your hormone doctor says", despite abnormalities on my scans. My hormone doctor treats my hormones. My gynaecologist was meant to treat my heavy bleeding (to the point I was told I'd need a blood transfusion within 48hrs by ED staff) and abnormalities in my pelvis. Why keep passing the buck? Why do nothing? Have high risk of womb cancer but no investigations apart from ultrasound have been done. My condition is getting worse and the gynaecology secretary quite rudely told me i can't have my appointment brought forward or be seen quicker because there's nothing say my condition is worsening, and the doctor would have to decide if Im poorly enough to be seen sooner. I'm told by ED staff that all my visits for severe bleeding would be accessible on the system. My GP, hormone doctor, ED staff, etc, have all attempted contacting the gynaecologist with no response. My next appointment is the end of September 2015. My last one was towards the end of 2014. Where have all the gynaecologists gone? Hopefully I don't become even more anaemic in the next 6 months? Hopefully my cancer risk and symptoms are taken seriously one day? Hopefully I'm alive to make the appointment? I hate to say it but don't expect timely care from UHCW - in my experience, nobody is available or willing to take women's health seriously.
