About: Horton General Hospital

Our three year old son had injured his head and eye while playing at home so we took him to the GP and were referred to go straight down to Horton hospital to have him checked out. The staff were wonderfully kind and patient as our child is scared of doctors and so was a little tricky being examined. It was thought that instead of the symptoms being due to the head injury that they could be the beginning of a virus. In order to err on the side of caution he was given a weeks 'pass' so that if he had any further concerning symptoms we could be brought him straight back to the hospital. Although we didn't need to take him back in, having a pass was such great reassurance. We were very appreciative of all the staff did for us.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback with us, our staff appreciate knowing they have made a difference to the lives of patients and their families. It has been a joy to share your thanks with staff working in the Horton Hospital, and with senior nurses and management. We are pleased that you did not have to use your Hospital pass and hope that your son has recovered well.
