Having been a patient on ward N2 for 7 operations and one stay lasting 6 weeks I can honestly say that the nursing staff and domestics are excellent, they do a fantastic job. The doctors are friendly and informative and my consultant is the best; I trust him completely.
However, I think there is a shortage of qualified nurses per shift and the ones that are there seem rushed off their feet and try their hardest to provide a good service. The support staff again do their utmost to help the staff nurses but I think more money needs to be spent to employ qualified staff.
As for the food, well I suppose it depends on what you are used to but I personally found it awful but it is a small consideration in the scheme of things and the excellent medical care compensates fully.
"Excellent medical care "
