I recently spent a week in HDU and Ward 3 following a total hip replacement. I have a phobia about hospitals and it was with no little trepidation that I decided to go ahead and have the operation – I’d put it off for over two years! I need not have been so concerned. Although very nervous, my experience was very positive on the whole. The nursing staff, the OT’s and most of the Physiotherapists were so positive, kind, considerate and empathetic that my earlier fears were quite unfounded. My admiration goes out to you all for managing to do your jobs so conscientiously and well in such a busy environment - and with humour too. Whilst I didn’t meet the surgical team a huge thank you is also due to them for the excellent job which they did and I am now recovering very well. Thank you to you all
"Brilliant staff and care"
