"The doctor was very friendly and welcoming"

It was great not to have to wait long for the operation and to have it done at the health centre rather than at the hospital. The doctor was very friendly and welcoming but I felt could have been a bit more professional and less casual. He might have been trying too hard to put me at ease but what I was looking for is confidence in my physician. The tip flew off the syringe and I had to have a second injection. Also I felt too much informal chat between the nurse and doctor. There didn't seem to be enough time taken to see if I was comfortable and I wasn't. When questioning, the nurse had to point out spots missed. Overall I am very pleased with the outcome and the wound healed well. Because of the above I was wondering how good the doctor was and should I have used BUPA? With attention to minor points above I would rate the service as excellent.
