My daughter was admitted via the pregnancy assessment unit onto Ward 9. Being 13 weeks pregnant and being a very anxious person, this was very traumatic for her, and us. The staff on the Pregnancy Assessment Unit and on Ward 9 were absolutely amazing. So hard working, personable and understanding of my daughters' anxiety. Allowing myself or my husband to be with her all day while her husband was at work and allowing him to come in later than visiting having put their toddler son to bed first, showed such sensitivity and understanding of my daughters needs and helped to take much anxiety away. Decisions on Sarah's treatment were well communicated and explained. We could not fault her care in any way and are so grateful to all involved in her care. The NHS works so hard within financial restraint and comes in for so much criticism from Government. We are so very blessed to have such wonderful and dedicated professionals who, despite being so unappreciated and criticised, are so committed and hard working and provide such wonderful service as that we have received from Ward 9 staff. Many thanks to you all.
