"A huge thank you"

Over five years ago, I was told by a Mental Heath Officer that "I promise you, you with get your daughter back". As the years went by, I was difficult not to despair: the sections, the various hospitals, the rushed discharge, the drug side effects, my daughter's decisions to stop the medication, the assurance that all was well when I knew it was not, the phone calls and the police being called yet again. But now, my beautiful wonderful daughter is beginning to rediscover her wellness after being in your care. The staff listened and cared, nursing her back to health while giving space and treating her with dignity. Thank you. It would be easy to be influenced by the grim accommodation, but that is not what it is about, it is the atmosphere of care and respect that matters. I was so surprised that nurses and doctors took time to speak and listen to me. Thank you. And my daughter ? She liked the staff, thought the food was great and most importantly, felt safe during a truly frightening time for her. Thank you.
