I have hyperhidrosis so bad that I only ever leave my home to attend hospital appointments. So I was ecstatic to be told I could be treated with botox,as all other treatments had failed..waited for an appointment to arrive and in the meantime I developed numbness down my left side. After an M.R.I scan I was diagnosed with m.s,when I told my doctor who had said I could have botox they replied if you have m.s then you can't have the botox...why not? I was in too much of a state of shock to ask at that time.
