"Ward 32, and catheter theatre"

About: Glenfield Hospital

I was in ward 32 last week Thursday 5/3/15 and cannot let my feelings go towards the staff, nurses, doctors everyone, they are so warm, caring and professional and made my stay so easy and comforting, everyone right down to the car park attendant gets my praise. My op was delayed thought emergency but it did not matter because of the warmth and care of the nurses. And to be thanked by a doctor that had nothing to do with my op, who took the time to come to me after the emergency op and say to me your patience and understanding as helped save a mans life wow that is something. But the nurses had so much patience and understanding for me every one there love and care, support was the best I have ever ever seen. Even the pre op few days before was great warm, caring the waiting did not matter. To everyone in the hospital and specially ward 32 nurses and theatre nurses, doctors you were fantastic, and you all deserve a lot lot more than you are paid, love you all :) Paul Whittaker x

Dear Mr Whittaker Thank you for your incredibly kind comments. We are so pleased that you found the staff at Glenfield, especially on ward 32 to be caring and understanding. The team there work really hard so they were chuffed to bits when we passed on your feedback. We hope you are doing well. Thank you again Communications Team Leicester's Hospitals
