"Cataract operation"

About: King Edward VII Hospital

A routine eye test at Specsavers informed me that I had cataracts on both eyes and told me to make an appointment with my GP. I was then referred to the KEV11 eye hospital for tests. These took place one afternoon in December 2014. Surgery was recommended and I was added to the list. My operation took place at King Edward V11 at the end of January 2015. As a mature lady I was concerned about what might happen and whether it would be worth putting myself through the surgery. However, at all times I was very impressed by the care and attention paid by the staff. At each stage they informed me as to what would happen next, including the surgeon talking to me all through the surgery! The surgery and the nursing care were excellent. I am so impressed I am waiting to have my other eye operated on in the near future. I can only thank the staff at King Edwards V11 for being so professional.
