"first class respect compassion and care on a&e."

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary

From the moment my husband was taken into a&e at the hospital I felt reassured by the professional way he was both spoken to and treated.there was a level of compassion I had not experienced in a hospital before. Each department including e xray and onto the ward was of the same high standard. I have had some poor experiences with hospitals in the past and was dreading bringing him into the Mri. I need not have worried. My husband continues to be poorly but I felt that a&e departments especially tend to be so busy that they lose their compassion and people skills-not so at theMRI

Thank you for your comments posted on the Patient Opinion website regarding your husband’s care at the Manchester Royal Infirmary’s Accident and Emergency Department. It was very kind of you to write and compliment the staff as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects their hard work and dedication. It was reassuring to hear that you felt that your husband received compassionate and exemplary care from the A&E staff and that this personalised care helped reassure you that your husband was in good hands. We can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to the managers of the units and the staff involved.
