"disgusting"

About: Kettering General Hospital

poor care. never checked to see how dilated i was b4 pushing, had crash team for both me and baby had a assisted birth and he came out facing up. after the birth i kept bleeding and bleecing they said its normal. i complain of feeling very unwell and still bleeding. hr later still in the same bed full of blood everywhere a team came in to get a clot and to be but on 3 drips as i wait to see if i would need a blood transfusion . poor care midwifes with students that are only just trained as midwifes in my eyes should not be deliverying nor looking after mothers. i would not recommend anyone to go to kgh maternity ward.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments on the NHS Choices website. I am very sorry that you did not have a positive experience during your time in the delivery suite and you feel the care you received was below what you expected. As a department we would welcome the opportunity to meet with you and discuss your treatment and I would like to arrange a meeting for you to discuss your concerns in more detail. Please contact our Patient Advice & Liaison Service (PALS) on 01536 493306 who can put you through to the delivery suite ward manager directly. Mara Tonks Lead Midwife
