About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus

Staff on this ward are terrible. Daren't ask anything because of the terrible way we are spoken to. They are not caring, rarely smile, are unpleasant. Feel like we are a hindrance. They don't care about my family member they just want to chat amongst themselves. I would rather die in pain at home than be treated here. Would take too long to say everything but if my parent dies on this ward and these are my final memories I will be heartbroken.

Thank you for bringing these serious concerns to our attention. I sincerely apologise for the behaviours you have observed and the way this has made you feel. Such behaviour is unacceptable quite simply will not be tolerated. I have informed the Ward Sister, who will be speaking to all the staff regarding your observations and experience, which causes great concern. As far as we are aware this is an isolated incident and we have not received any other concerns regarding poor behaviours on this ward previously. We will be sharing your comments with the team so that they know how their behaviours have affected you and your family. If you would like to speak to me personally, you can do so by calling 64414
