"Daughter jetissoned from horse!"

Apologies for the delay in posting..but I would like to thank everyone involved in the care of my daughter. Whilst riding on Highgate common...she parted company with her pony at high speed! Firstly, the ambulance crew were fantastic, she was made comfortable at the scene, and then transfereed to A&E. We were greeted by a brilliant team from Trauma, Orthopaedics, and Paediatrics, along with numerous specialist nurses. Her assesment was speedy, and extremely thorough. It was better than anything i could possibly imagine. Everyone kept us informed, and more importantly, our daughter was also kept in the loop, and spoken to kindly and with respect. CT was fast and efficient, and the on call radiologist quickly reviewed the images. Transfer to Children's ward was quick, and uncomplicated, with staff on the ward, again, keeping us informed of everything that was being done and why. Please pass on our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in our journey through the hospital. As a staff member myself, i understand we are all working under increasinigly difficult circumstances, and people are too quick to judge and complain. Keep up the good work!
