About: North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust Patient Opinion

I work in Cumbria Partnership and I think this new tool for allowing everybody, including staff, to leave feedback - be it postive or negative is a brilliant idea. The staff at our Trust are all hard working and dedicated but it is only by receiving feedback that it allows us to ensure that all of the hard work is for a reason. Every organisation needs 'constant tweeking' but we cannot put right what we dont know to fix....... fingers crossed hoping people will use this service.

Thank you for your positive contribution. Patient Opinion is a new form of involvement for everyone - service users, carers, families and staff and I am pleased that you can see how this will help staff to deliver excellent services. Patient Opinion is not all about people complaining - many of the stories shared on the site reward the good work of dedicated staff and I'm looking forward to being able to share this with the teams.

As you said, 'every organisation needs constant tweeking' and we do this to ensure that we are always meeting the needs of our service users and carers. The fact that Patient Opinion brings us real time feedback means that we will be able to react to changes quickly and ensure that our services are responsive.

The Trust have embraced Patient Opinion because we can see the real benefits of such a facility, it has great potential to make real change within our services, I am glad you can see the benefits of such a facility too.
