"If I could have been seen earlier I could have suffered less pain"

I was taken by the ambulance to the PRH in October when my wrist welled up and I couldn't move my fingers. My own doctor thought I might have an infection. At the A&E I was examined and had an x-ray and told to go back the next day. I was then told that I should have gone to the wrist clinic. My own doctor arranged this and I went in December. By this time my wrist was back to normal and they said it was due to arthritis and that next time they would give me an injection. If I could have been seen earlier I could have suffered less pain.
