"21st century care"

About: St Albans City Hospital

Had twisted ankle from work. Rang to check if I can be seen or to visit main hospital since I couldn't walk as it was swollen. Told to stay at home, do cold compress or elevation up to 24 hours, alternatively l can come and wait for three to four hours as this was their waiting time for the day to be seen. The member of staff seems not bothered or offering any help at all. When l got home and took the boots off thus when l realised how swollen the ankle had gone. In this 21st century care, I have to wait for 24 hours for help. Nhs gone to the dogs and looks like being run by people with no clue at all
