"I described fantastic care"

About: Rotherham Hospital / Accident and emergency Rotherham PCT / Continence service

(as the patient),

I phoned for my prescription service on a Tuesday morning on the 8th September. At approximately 2.00pm on the Wednesday it arrived by the Special carriers from Stonehouse Glos. It would normally have taken at least 14 days by the old system. Another experience was on the 23rd January this year where due to an accident I was rushed into hospital. At that time the hospital was on red alert and the attention and care I received was and can only be described as fantastic.

I support the organisation in making sure that the voice of patients and the public is heard and used in planning services. This involves running events, managing surveys, and building networks with the local community.

Thanks for comments

It's good to know that the changes to the Continence service has meant that you are getting an improved service.

Its also good to know that you received a good service at A & E, although the system was under pressure at the time.

I will be sure to pass your comments on to the services concerned.
