"MRI -Department"

About: Royal Derby Hospital

I attended for a MRI yesterday, I was nervous having had one before and not liking it. This one was with contrast so added to the nerves was an injection and dye put into my veins during the scan. The team were so helpful, kind and explained and reassured me. I had talked myself out of having it done by the time I reached the department but the staff and team were excellent and treated me well all the way through. The scan took longer than we all expected but they gave me updates all throughout. I wouldn't rush to have one again (!) but at least I know I would be looked after. Thanks team, Department doesn't appear on drop down

Firstly, may we apologise for the delay in responding to your review. However, we were delighted to hear that you felt reassured and your experience when attending for an MRI scan at our hospital in March this year, was overall, a positive one. We will certainly ensure that this feedback is shared with the relevant staff as we are sure they also will be most appreciative. May we take this opportunity to wish you very best wishes for the future and once again, thank you for taking the time to provide us with this valuable and important feedback. Kind regards The Patient Experience Team, for Derby Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
