I had a planned operation at the Conquest Hospital in February and although surgery can never be described as an enjoyable experience, the care I received exceeded my expectation. From the initial consultation to when I was able to go home, everything was explained clearly and I was provided with reassurance to calm my nerves. Every member of staff I came across was kind and compassionate and nothing was too much trouble. The hospital was spotlessly clean and the food really good. A big thank you to the anaesthetics team who were amazing and all the staff on Mirlees Ward who do such a fabulous job. My surgeon is a star. I genuinely cannot thank you enough.
