"Can get through on the phone (Desperate!)"

About: Homerton University Hospital

My son was taken to A & E and admitted with a condition as yet unknown! We live 250 miles away in Lancashire. I have been trying to get through to the ward to enquire about his condition but cant. I have been calling for hrs without getting through. The reception is abrupt and put me through to a line that just goes on ringing without anyone being there. I then finally found the ward but the nurse said she was busy. I asked for the direct number to the ward again so I wouldn't have to start all over again but she said she didn't know it and hung up. I still don't know how my Son is, but will keep trying!
