"Above and beyond duty of care"

About: Liverpool Womens Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I'm over half way through my pregnancy now and have had a really great experience so far of the Women's hospital. I've had 3 ultra sound scans and on all 3 occasions they have been great. At my 20 week scan, my baby wasn't moving round very much so they asked me to go for a walk and come back in after 10 minutes. When she tried my scan again they still couldn't get a clear view of baby's heart, so they booked me back in for 2 weeks later. I never felt rushed and there was no drama. The midwife was fantastic. On my third scan my wait was less than 5 minutes, I arrived and was straight in and she did a full scan again and even got some amazing pictures of the baby which they struggled to get first time round. All in all my experience so far has been excellent and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. The staff are lovely and caring and have time for you! They even put my mums mind at rest when she was fretting which is above and beyond the call of duty!
