I spent two days at Colman Hill Hospital last week undergoing an abdominal hysterectomy operation - I was referred as an NHS patient. I cannot fault the care I received at this hospital from initial referral to my consultant to discharge home. I had never had surgery before and was understandably nervous but all the staff I encountered, without fail, were so caring and kind. The hospital, although small, is run like clock-work everything seems so efficiently organised and this is very reassuring! The nurses do a fantastic job and were all so lovely nothing seemed too much trouble despite the hospital being very busy prior to my discharge. They turned what i thought would be quite an ordeal into a very pleasant experience and I didn't feel like I was treated any differently being an NHS patient. I never leave reviews but found it difficult to source reviews for this hospital so hope this helps to reassure other nervous patients!
