"Health carer"

About: Ealing, Acton and Shepherd's Bush

(as the patient),

I had a Health Carer take blood from me. I have very thin viens and therefore it is difficult to extract blood.

On this occasion, the Health Carer tried to take blood but was unsuccessful and began wiggling the needle.

As anyone can agree, this is very painful and I asked the health carer to stop. The member of staff then said, while standing over me with a clenched fist and if i were in other country i would get a slap!

After leaving the surgery, I informed my husband. We returned to the surgery where my husband quizzed the Health Care worker in front of the Surgery Manager. During the discussion, the worker said they didn't mean it like that!

My husband then said so you did say it then!

After this we were informed to made the complaint in writing to the surgery.

The reply from the Surgery Manager said the manager would be treated as a 'performance review' and implied that the patient was at fault and that the patient told the career not to bring what they would do in their country, to the surgery.

I do not feel that this was enough.

Any help/advise please?
