"Not bad at all."

About: Newham General Hospital

My husband came to the Hospital in November 2014 via an ambulance as the gp requested that he was to go as he had a gangrenous toe,, he was admitted up to Eastham Ward and they looked after him very well, he had to stay in Newham until a bed became available at the Royal London. He stayed on the ward for a week and half and in that time the staff treated him well. Lack of blankets and urine bottles was a problem but they got more from another ward. Food wasn't very nice he said and I had to bring him food in each day but the tea trolley was always coming round which he did like. He was transferred to the London and he didn't like that one bit,,, he wished he could have stayed in Newham for his treatment. Thankyou Newham for caring for him.
