"fell in at wifes pre op"

About: Grantham & District Hospital

Whist i was visiting the hospital for my wifes pre op assessment i fell ill .the nursing staff were extremely helpful and caring and stayed with me until i felt better.one of the nurses even walked me back to my car to make sure i was safe. When i returned home the staff nurse who was dealing with my wife rang me to make sure i had arrived home safe and wished me all the best.I was really impressed with the amount of care and thought that they had.It gave me great confidence in the care they offer and know that my wife will be well looked after when she has her operation.

Dear Bryan

Thank you very much for taking the time to send your comments to us about your experience in the Pre-assessment Unit at Grantham. It was unfortunate that you become unwell, but am delighted that you found the nursing staff so caring and helpful, and that you felt that they went over and above their duties to ensure that you and your wife arrived home safely. I hope that you are now feeling well, and all goes extremely well for your wife in her forthcoming surgery.

Best wishes

Ruth Martinelli
