"Hurrendous experience"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

I visited Sunderland ambulartory care today after being referred here from A n E! I was met by a lovely nurse, my little girl who was 20 months is the patient! I was the taken to a doctor and he started to ask questions regarding her previous care, interrupted me every step of the way and then stated that I can't tell if she has a temp without a thermomitor( I may not be able to say it's 38 or 39 ) bt I can tell if she is warm as proven wen in A n E it was 38.4 (high temp)! He then went on to try and explain about her ear drum and started to lift blinds in the room! He also called antibiotics chemical brothers and had to be prompted by a aux nurse to use correct terminology! This doctor made me feel very be littled and as if I'd done something wrong by taking her to a n e! I have never ever had a problem with Sunderland hospital until meeting this patronising doctor! He's behaviour was unprofessional from the get go and I feel he should not be dealing with children as his attitude is completely wrong!
