"A bleeding duodenal ulcer"

About: Royal Preston Hospital

I was admitted with severe symptoms of a bleeding ulcer. The doctor explained very thoroughly what was going on and how an endoscopy would be the solution to my problem. I am 76 and I was treated with kindness and the sisters were very thorough with my drips etc. including blood transfusions. I have nothing but praise for the way I was treated in Ward 24.
