After having an operation on my kidney I was moved to Cotswold ward where I was treated by some lovely staff but also by some staff that didn't listen to me, treated me like a pest and recoiled in disgust after I'd vomited in to a bowl. Some healthcare assistants were rude and abrupt, not only to me but to my family and I left after two days feeling neglected and as though my voice hadn't been heard. I would never stay on that ward again if given a choice. However the staff in the Brunel building were brilliant, especially the nurses that cared for me in recovery.
"50% of the staff were great but half were terrible"
