"Professional and efficient"

About: Birmingham Dental Hospital

1st time clinic attendance at Outreach Clinic (Boots, Birmingham City Centre), Saturday 21st (the Saturday appointment was very convenient for me as I work Monday to Friday). The appointment documentation provided excellent information and map to enable easy location of facility. Reception staff extremely polite and approachable. Health questionnaire easy to understand and complete. There was no delay in my consultation appointment time. My consultation took place with a doctor and his nurse, who were both very kind and welcoming, putting me at my ease immediately, at what was, for me, an extremely stressful and anxious time. My clinical history was carefully taken, and repeated to me, and I was encouraged to ask questions and clarify my understanding if I felt it necessary. During my examination, the doctor showed me my X-rays and gave a clear explanation of my clinical diagnosis. He carefully explained his recommendations for treatment and we discussed a treatment plan. On leaving the clinic I felt less anxious and reassured that I had a clear understanding of my planned treatment, and when to expect my next appointment. I commend the Dental Hospital on its provision of an efficient and professional service. Thank you.
