There is a total lack of communication, dignity, access to consultant when problems arise(the eternal answering machine which takes 3 to 4 days to get a response from) tough luck if you happen to have wires coming thru a wound from recent surgery. Tough luck if you have leaking wound.tough luck when you contract a super bug and still cannot access those who are responsible for your care. When you do finally see your consultant and voice your concerns you will be told "It pressure of work, I will send yor concerns to the unit manager as a matter of urgency" That was last October (2014) It's now almost the end of February 2015. As usual no response. There are many other episodes I would like to descriibe here but unfortunately pressure of work prevents me from doing so.
