"Care cleanliness and communication"

About: King George Hospital

Sitting waiting for blood test, some officious pen pusher shouted wakey wakey at a very sick man to get him to fill a smoking survey. Public toilets have had no soap in the machines for days despite visitors noting this on cleaning rota. No-one answers phones when trying to sort out appointments, hung on for 20 minutes but no luck. Downloadable map is not up-to-date.

I am sorry about your experience when you visited for a blood test. I will pass your comment onto the smoking cessation team. I will also pass on your comments to our Estates team, as we aim to provide clean and safe toilets for our patients. Thank you also for noting that our downloadable map is not up to date, I have asked the communications department to rectify this immediately. Yours sincerely Wendy Matthews Interim Chief Nurse
